Hudson River was uneventful, but the scenery was fantastic. For example here we are anchored in front of the very scenic nuclear power plant. Security did a drive by to make sure we weren't terrorists. We spent September 6 - 7 anchored at the 79th Street Boat Basin in Manhattan. Just a few block from the middle of Central Park. We walked and sub-wayed all over the city and took a boat to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We were not able to go into the statue as they were already sold out. Other places we visited include, the Empire State Bldg., Central Park, had a drink at Tavern on the Green, Trump Tower, ate breakfast at the Jerry Seinfeld restaurant, Ground Zero and Time Square to name a few.

After New York we stayed at Sandy Hook NJ waiting for good weather to get to the Delaware Bay. We kept ourselves busy at some of the local beaches.
I didn't get a chance to finish this post before we left Chesapeake City. There was an all you can eat crab night and I needed to "get er done". After Chesapeake City we anchored for a couple of nights in the Sassafras River, no Internet but very quiet. Now we are anchored in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. MD. Our current location is 39 16 64N & 76 34 89W. Anne Forgacs will be in Baltimore for business and we will be getting together with her Monday or Tuesday. It will be good to see someone from home and get the latest poop in MN.
That is all for now, we will leave for Annapolis about midweek and spend a week or so there. After that who knows?

We also anchored out in the Hudson at the 79th St Boat Basin. At that time, they had no moorings. What is the situation now. I assume they let you dinghy in. We were told to use a taxi if we returned at night and to hurry under the highway to the entrance. How is the security there now. It is a good way to see the city. Jim and Ellie S/V Meta Fog
