April/May - Preperation
We have been feverishly working on the boat to get her ready to sail. Johesa was launched April 29th. This is the earliest she has been in the water. Once at the dock we got pummeled all night with high winds and rain out of the NE, good for generating wind power. All systems seem to be working well. We also installed some new stuff, new battery bank (450AH capacity), high output alternator with smart regulator, freezer (must have ice), bimini and dodger, book shelves and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember at the moment. There is still much to do before departure, we are starting to feel the pressure.
Besides all the boat stuff we are trying to wrap up all our lives in Eagan. The lists just keep getting longer but we are holding up reasonably well.

Wow! You guys must really be stressed out!
Yes we are! But we are moving in the right direction.
Hey Johesa! We wish you warm waters and favorable winds. I suppose we won't be there to see you off, but we will be checking in on you from time to time. You carry some of our dreams with you when you go too! Our email address is: bruleacres@gmail.com . We'll send pictures of our summer adventure if you'll send yours! Have fun, stay healthy. Congratulations on your achievement!

Bill and Cindy,
Here's wishing you a safe, fun and interesting experience on your trip.
We probably will not see you as you pass thru the Apostles, but we certainly will think of you two over the coming months.
Nice site by the way. Very clean and it all works too! :^)
Cheers and Beers,
